Smart Grid Ireland is very excited to be collaborating with ESB Networks, SEAI and The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) on the topic of Energy Communities. On Tuesday 28th January we will be bringing together a broad mix of important stakeholders to discuss Community Driven Energy & The Smart Grid: Overcoming Challenges Together. The group will discuss how growth in the energy community can benefit People, grid efficiency through emissions reductions and the Integration of Flexibility as part of grid planning & operations.

We seek to:

• Define the challenges for the community.
• Provide a collaborative bridge to solutions.
• Form an energy- communities working group to develop aligned action plan.

It promises to be a very interesting and engaging day!
